About the Event
Join us on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 3PM Eastern for "Returning Home," our fifth virtual concert for the 2020-21 season!
The meaning of home runs deep: not just in our own lives but across generations of families, providing a solid foundation for and a powerful influence on our individual journeys in life. This program explores the power of deep roots in music with violinist (and NSO concertmaster) Nurit Bar-Josef, NPO principal bassoonist Erich Heckscher, steel pan player and composer Andy Akiho joining virtually from Portland, Oregon, and percussionist and Constellations Programming Committee member Ian Rosenbaum hailing from Brooklyn, New York.
The performance will be live-streamed on our homepage (www.constellationsmusic.org) and Facebook page right at 3PM Eastern on Sunday, March 21. The artists will also be joining us for a live Q&A session and virtual reception immediately following the concert in Constellations' Zoom meeting room! After the reception, the virtual concert will remain on our home page for 72 hours, and then will move to our online archives.
