About the Event
We hope you can join us virtually on Sunday, April 12 starting at 4 pm for our very first Constellations Virtual Concert! The performance will be posted on our home page (www.constellationsmusic.org) as well as on our Facebook page, and available online for 72 hours to enjoy at your convenience. Access to the video is free and we encourage you to share it with family and friends. We're thrilled to be bringing back some of our favorite people, guest artists Sam Um (percussion) and Grace Park (violin), and welcoming a new artist to the Constellations family - pianist Yoon Lee of New York City! Sam, Grace, and Yoon will also join a discussion led by our very own Ian Rosenbaum, Programming Committee member, to share some personal insights into the music, what it means to them in these difficult times, and how music can be a source of comfort and inspiration.
The program will feature the following works:
Aria - Christopher Theofanidis
Romance in F Minor, Op. 11 - Antonin Dvorak
Over the Rainbow - Harold Arlen, arr. Takemitsu
A big THANK YOU to Jan Chong and an anonymous donor for sponsoring this first Constellations Virtual Concert!
All of our Virtual Concert programs are crafted by the Programming Committee and specially performed by the artists in their own homes for the Constellations audience. You can donate online by texting CONSTELLATIONS to 44-321. All contributions for this campaign will go 100% to the artists!
