RISE

Join us as we mark our return to in-person performances at our downtown D.C. venue with an explosion of musical energy across a two-day, three-concert chamber music event. Each of the three concerts will present different pieces, all inspired by the theme of humanity's ability to rise above the fray. Featuring works by Tania León and Kevin Puts, Beethoven’s “Ghost” Trio, a Daniel Pesca world premiere, and Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time. Join us for one concert, or all three and take in the full experience. 

A portion of the proceeds will go toward World Central Kitchen's efforts in Ukraine. 

Featuring Grammy-nominated artists, international competition winners, and some of the nation's hottest classical performers, many of which are uniting for the first time in-person since the onset of the pandemic.

The Saturday afternoon performance will introduce a new concert format for Constellations we're calling (Re)sounding. Become an essential part of the compositional process as you witness the “birth” of a new work and hear directly from the artists that created it. This inaugural (Re)sounding will feature the world premiere commissioned by Constellations of Daniel Pesca's Walk with me, my joy, followed by an intimate Q&A session with the composer and performers, and concluding with a second performance of the work.
